Link entries to the requests they close
Attach the posts a release resolves. On publish, every voter and follower on those posts is notified by email and in-app, and the posts flip to Shipped with a link to the entry.
This is the whole reason to run feedback and changelog in the same tool: the notification is automatic rather than a task someone forgets.
Write for the person who asked
Lead with what changed and who it affects, not with the internal epic name. Two sentences and a screenshot beat a bulleted list of tickets.
Distribution
Each changelog has a public page, an RSS feed, an embeddable in-app widget and an optional Slack post. Labels — New, Improved, Fixed — let readers filter.
