Pick a moderation mode
Post-moderation publishes immediately and relies on you to clean up; it keeps momentum and is right for most boards. Pre-moderation holds submissions in a queue and suits regulated industries or boards with a big anonymous audience.
Automatic protections
Rate limiting per IP and per account, a configurable banned-word list, link throttling for new accounts, and duplicate-flood detection all run without configuration. Anything caught lands in Review rather than being deleted.
Handling hostile feedback
Hide removes a post from public view while keeping it for your records. Editing a customer's words is possible but logged in the audit trail — prefer an official reply that adds context over a silent edit.
